Sand and rocks

March 20, 2013

We are camping for a few weeks on the rainbow coast in WA. So far we haven’t explored too far as we have been happy to hang around the lovely campsite enjoying a campfire and reading books in the hammock. We have been to town to use the library and laundromat and have been snorkeling […]

My travels continue. We are now in Western Australia, quite far from home. We are camping on the Rainbow coast — such a pretty name — it is raining though and the forecast is rain for the next week and who knows how long after that. But we still plan on swimming today! We are […]

White sands

Homeschool has been hold while we pack up camp each day and investigate new spots traveling further west around the coastline. We have met some other on-the-road families who have been questioning the advice given them by their school and have been struggling with 3-4 hours a day of homeschool. It’s too much and the […]

Chilling and traveling

February 12, 2013

The last week has been a chilled out perfect space. We are now on the road again and moving on to the next rest stop. I have been thinking of my ‘tolerance’ policy in regards the kids and have been trying to practice it myself towards my fellow campers. As a friend commented recently “nothing […]

Respect for effort and work achieved and personal issues. Tolerance for noise, for dumb jokes, and for bad singing. Tolerance for each others little foibles […]
