White sands

Esperence region in WA is magic. We stayed for over a week at Cape Arid National Park. Swimming, fishing and snorkeling in between rainy patches. The camp site (thomas river) was pretty nice — private and spacious and clean. We did have a mouse problem though! Moving west now!

Road tripping on the longest road

We crossed over to WA from SA along the longest straight road. 3 days of driving. We missed the storm and just drove on and on. Through desert, along treeless plains, and camped at sunset. Beautiful barren country.

Goodbye South Australia, we loved you

South Australia we really loved your rugged and beautiful coastline. The fishing and sunshine was grand. We loved the jetties, the swimming and the towns. Your salami was amazing and so are your thrift and junk shops. We’ll be back!

Harsh and beautiful country

We have really liked this spot by the beach. Eyre Peninsula, near the small town of Tumby Bay at a small beach camp called Second Creek.
